A beautiful blend of Phil’s own compositions with traditional tunes, served up with a level of both excitement and sensitivity that only Phil Cunningham could deliver. Highly gifted and athletic on on a multitude of instruments, Phil is considered by most to be the finest exponent anywhere of the piano accordion. This 1989 release was his second solo album and complimented his work with folk band Silly Wizard. Phil wnt on to strike up a very successful partnership with fiddler Aly Bain with whom he has toured the world and as a producer and presenter with BBC Scotland.
