Having only formed a short time before, winning a Danny Kyle award at Glasgow's Celtic Connections Festival in 2000 exploded the band into the public eye. It was only 6 months later before Brolum also walked away with the equivalent award from the World's largest Celtic Festival: the "Festival Interceltique de Lorient" in France. The band's debut album "7:11" was released in January 2001.
