Weird that a successful trio in its prime should split up. What is the reason, Anna?

That's disappointing, though I can see that you're all pretty busy on a lot of other fronts.
Good luck with the last round of gigs, and for the future. I don't imagine any of you will exactly be disappearing from the scene...

Well, I always knew that they'd be "too good to last".

As Pict says, there's a huge demand for all three to do other things and we'll still have plenty of opportunities to see them all in the future. There will no doubt be reuinions too with either all or part of trio in tow.

OK so we do it the hard way, The ‘Highland News’ Paparazzi are now on the trail for a scoop.

Some Chance!

Norman Maclean the highland comedian had a great stage gag when married to Peggy.

They went on holiday to New York and he asked Peggy "where would you like to go for dinner a ghráigh”?.

Peggy: “Norman, I would like to go to that restaurant that has the nude waiters.”

Norman:” Heavens above where does she get this stuff?, all we get at home is 'The Oban Times' ”

Last time I saw them there seemed to be plenty of rapport and good feeling. It's a shame to see them split but no doubt they have their own dreams to follow.

Anna Massie's stage presence equals her talent. She has great humour. I love the joke she tells amount her mother swopping about the CDs in the record shop, putting Anna's to the front. She said that she had renamed her: "The Lone Arranger". :D

Good, and informative, review in Hi-Arts of the Skye gig:

http://www.hi-arts.co.uk/default.aspx.locid-hianewpe6.Lang-EN.htm

''Quite apart from their brilliant musicianship, they have a refreshing down-to-earth attitude that makes them one of the most appealing bands currently around. So it came as a shock to hear that this was their last UK tour together. “We’re all just too busy with other things,” said Anna – a reminder that they have years of musical exploration ahead of them. ''

''To three outrageously talented friends, three extremely professional musicians, three very nice people – good luck for your futures, and thanks for a brilliant evening’s entertainment!''
