    Aberdeen Folk Club

    Meets 8.30pm @ The Blue Lamp, 121 The Gallowgate (first left up from Upperkirkgate). If you want to sing, play, or just watch/listen, come along. Hope to see you there.
    We invite guest performers usually twice a month. When no guest is booked, the club operates an informal singaround/session. 8.30pm: Tickets £5. & £4.

    Edinburgh Folk Club

    The Edinburgh Folk Club is a friendly well-run club which meets 8pm Wednesday evenings at The Pleasance Cabaret Bar, The Pleasance, Edinburgh.  They won the accolade of "Folk Club of the Year" in 2003 at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Their format is guests every week plus floorspots.     Folk Nights at Huntly

    Third Wednesday of the month at the Rose & Thistle, Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Time 8pm.

     

    Haddington Folk Club

    Haddington folk club is a long established club, where anyone with an interest in folk music (the term is adhered to very loosely) can come to listen or contribute.
    The club meets at the Mercat Hotel, 73 High Street, Haddington. Wednesday evening at 8.30 pm
    in the upstairs lounge.
    Most nights they have a sing-around, sometimes with theme nights or special events. Every couple of months they usually have a guest night. They are a friendly, informal bunch and have introduced many folk to their first experience of singing, playing, dancing or poem saying for others.
    Every Wednesday night - singer/performer's nights - everyone welcome.

    Irvine Folk Club

    The Irvine Folk Club meets every second Wednesday in The Vineburgh Centre, Quarry Road Irvine, KA12 8TP at 8.30pm. The club has been providing top quality music for over 37 years and every fortnight quality guest artists are guaranteed.
    Admission to the club is £4 for members and £5 for non-members although membership is not a requirement - the club starts at 8.30pm. Club Membership runs from January to December at a cost of £10 and anyone interested in becoming a member should contact Joyce Hodge.

    Stranraer Folk Club

    Stranraer folk club meets every Wednesday night, all year round.  We normally start about 9pm and admission is always free, even on guest nights, but we have a raffle every week. Singers and musicians are always welcome.

    Fyvie Folk Club

    The Folk Club Night:  is held on the first Wednesday of each month beginning at 8 pm. Singers and musicians are invited to perform up to three songs/sets in one go. All welcome
    Folk Club Session: is held on the second Wednesday of each month beginning at about 9 pm. The session is very informal. Singers, musicians, listeners, all are most welcome. You are invited to try out your new material and join in with the other musicians. Anything goes!
