A folk festival with a difference! The Ugie Folk Club, based in the tiny village of Stuartfield, about 10 miles from Peterhead, has been running it's own unique festival for over a decade now. The format of the weekend revolves around a ceilidh and a number of informal concerts and pub sessions. Guests at the festival are drawn from friends of the Club and the audience from the local communities, which makes a very friendly weekend of music and dance for visitors too. Festival centres around the Crichie Inn, Stuartfield and at the Aden Hotel in Old Deer.
