Summer Schools @ Glaisnock offer a quality learning experience and bring international masters of the folk arts to Ayrshire. The ‘arts workshops’ are strongly based on the traditional arts – music, song, dance and storytelling – but also include other art and craft activities, tutors and students from relevant local projects.
The summer schools are based at Glaisnock House, Cumnock, and use ideas, partnerships and experience gained over years of developing the Common Ground Scotland summer school, which has been held annually in Ayrshire since 2002.
