The festival which is ran by Fèis Bharraigh, a well known and established traditional music tuition festival on the island, will take place in a marquee right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean

The festival is geared to suit all ages and tastes and truly has something for all the family.

Ceòlas is a wonderful music and dance summer school held annually in South Uist in Scotland's Western Isles.

The main venue, one of the most spectacular in Scotland, with its soaring glass wall overlooking the Sound of Sleat and the hills of Knoydart..

Situated 1.5 miles outside the town of Oban, the festival provides a stunning destination at the end of a journey that will take you through some of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes.

The Festival centres on the main venue, a large marquee, capable of accommodating up to 5000, which is set in the scenic grounds of Lews Castle, Stornoway.

The Isle of Skye Pipe Band Festival usually takes place in Portree in July.

The Courses are structured around an ‘open format’, which does not restrict participants to a single class subject..

The Festival programme includes concerts, workshops, ceilidh, children's events, street entertainment, a busking competition and open stage

This lovely Borders festival attracts many returning visitors each year.

Rothbury music festival (Northumberland) is very popular with traditional musicians from north of the border.
