A beautiful CD & DVD from 2009 Scots Trad Music Awards Composer of the Year Mairearad Green. This music was written for Celtic Connection's new voices series and takes the form of a musical and filmic journey through the spectacular scenery and cultural riches of the Coigach peninsula, in Mairearad’s native Wester Ross. Mairearad Green has also commissioned some beautiful video from Magnus Graham and the musicians perform her music brilliantly.

I've been a fan of the Anna Massie Band since their first release (Glad Company) and I'm so pleased to see Maeread heading out on her own with these lovely compositions. I first listend to the CD which I thoroughly enjoyed and was blown away with the DVD. The music is so integrated with the visuals and you get carried away to sights unseen. Another good thing about this CD - Anna Massie's also on it!
