Winnipeg Police Pipe Band - Legacy: Since their formation in1920 the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band has electrified and stirred both national and international audiences with their masterful play and clorourfully gallant appearance. Attired in their traditional Royal Stewart tartan, they have performed in cities across North America and at many notable occasions including a number of royal and foreign dignitary visits including two by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The music list for this CD includes public favourites like Scotland the Brave, Amazing Grace, Danny Boy and the Flower of Scotland. There are also a few tracks that reflect the party aspect of the band.
