Transatlantic Sessions Series 4 Vol One (audio CD): This is the first of the audio CDs from the BBC television series which was screened in the UK in Autumn of 2009. Filmed and recorded at Glenlyon House, Perthshire in 2009 against a backdrop of the Scottish highlands, these series of programmes have come to be known as  “the greatest backporch shows ever”  Artists featured in this fourth series of programmes include James Taylor, Julie Fowlis, Dan 'Man of Constant Sorrow' Tyminski, Jerry Douglas, Aly Bain, Allan MacDonald, Martha Wainwright, Mairead ni Mhaonaigh, Karen Matheson, Donal Lunny, Rosanne Cash, Emily Smith, Mike McGoldrick, Dezi Donnelly, Alison Moorer, Karen Casey, Liam O'Maonlai, Stuart Duncan and Ronan Browne. 

This volume One audio CD is the first in a series of two from Transatlantic Sessions Series 4. The 15 tracks on this CD feature a selection of the music from the series and has a running time of around 60 minutes.
