Anyone who has attended the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year finals concerts over the last few years will already know about the strength of talent apparent in Scotlands young musicians. Each year the TMSA (Traditional Music and Song Association of Scotland) organises a  concert tour round Scotland feauring the finalists plus the previous year's winner. This album recorded live at some of the concerts  let's us hear these great young players and singers and allows us to appreciate how fortunate we are to have this well of talent coming through for the future.

Recorded during the TMSA Young Trad Tour 2007 at the Fochabers Public Institute, Fochabers on 21st September. Tracks are also taken from recordings at the Buccleuch Centre, Langholm on 26th September, Heart of Hawick on 27th September and Caird Hall, Dundee on the 28th September 07.
