Launched a fortnight ago in Oban, the Tiree/Lochaber duo's new album is their biggest production to date, with everything from Gordy Duncan bagpipe tunes and Para Handy community singing to Runrig's electric guitar. Then there are the popular Irish songs such as 'Spancil Hill', Gaelic song medleys, straight accordion and bellows-pipes playing march, strathspey and reel, as well as full-on Highland pipe-powered band numbers.
In all, 17 guests from the cream of Gaeldom's music-makers have helped create this album, one of the most cheery, beguiling and eclectic fruits of the great youth-led revival of traditional music in the Highlands and Islands.
