The Highland Connection is an early recording  - their  second album -  originally released in 1978 on the bands own label, Ridge Records. It is a somewhat transitional album when the band were beginning to develop a harder edge. The album went underthe slogan 'Highland Rock is Here'. Here you will find the original version of "Loch Lomond",a later version was to become their signature song and its closing song at concerts.
