| Don't hesitate to buy the CD, a wonderful investment. Vocally, Tony Cuffe has all the warmth of an American favorite, James Taylor, but something special (depth of soul?) makes his interpretation so pleasing that I just can't get enough of this CD -- and I'm usually the one who teases my wife for killing a CD through over-playing. All the magicians of Ossian have the skills and the special tricks that make these ballads not repetitious but endlessly refreshing. If you can't afford to buy CDs, request your local library to get a copy of Best of Ossian and your whole community will be the richer. |
