Shooglenifty are the masters of groove and this long-awaited album with their new lineup sees them continue their rise to become the finest celtic funk dance band in the world. Track titles include "Heading West", "A Fistful of Euro" , "Nordal Rhumba","The Rat" and the "The Wrong Box". Mandolin, bouzoukie, tenor banjo player and new boy Luke Plumb figures largely on the composing front and I particularly liked his Reid Street Sofa set. The thing about Shooglenifty is their seemingly effortless ability to just move the music up a notch defying their listeners not to get up and dance or at the very least visibly sway along with them.
