    Skippin' Barfit

    by Marie-Louise Napier

This is my third collection of songs and music and I hope there will be something to please all tastes. My special guest on the album is "The Auld Fiddler" from Aberdeen, the 82  years young Bert Murray! We met a few years ago at the Keith Folk Festival and I love to sing to his playing whenever I get the chance. My sister Kirsty joins me on one track. We have been singing together all our lives at family gatherings. David Taylor is a fine piper from Kingussie and a fellow tutor at Feis Spe.

Musicians: Marie-Louise Napier - voice / clarsach, Bert Murray - fiddle, David Taylor - pipes, Kirsteen Cumming - voice, Phil Cunningham - keyboard / whistles
