An enormously valuable recording, it also has excellent sleeve notes. Strathspeys, reels, slow airs, marches, waltzes and jigs from five different regions of Scotland played by Hugh Inkster, Pat Shearer, Andrew Poleson, Donald MacDonell and Hector MacAndrew .
