This DVD gives a viewers a taste of the excitement and spectacle that can be found in Glasgow during the annual World Pipe Band Championships. It's not all competition - it's fun, it's colourful and it is so popular that it attracts many thousands of visitors from across the globe.

The World Pipe Band Championships, held annually in Glasgow, attracts and international audience of over 50,000 to the City. Here is a taste of the finest Scottish entertainment and culture. The DVD includes The World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green  and the tension is high with more than 8000 pipers competing on the day! There is also The Highand Games which features some of the world's top athletes; Highland Dancing - the dancing championships attract dancers not just from Scotland but many from North America too. And of course, the Mass Bands Parade with pipe bands from Scotland and all over the world in a colourful and heart-lifting spectacle not to be missed.
