A 2006 re-release of this very popular album which was awarded a Scottish Record Industry Association ‘Gold Disc’ in 1986.

The McCalmans are one of Scotland’s most popular and enduring vocal harmony groups. The tracks on this album 'Peace & Plenty' were orignally released as an LP in 1986. On its re-release as a CD in 1990 tracks 8 & 9 were added. And now in it's third decade the very fine Peace and Plenty is re-released in 2006 as volume 9 in the much-admired Celtic Collections Series.
