Now That's What I Ceòl Music!

by The National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music

Well, here we are again. They say good things happen in threes, so hopefully this third CD of Sgoil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd, the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music will be as well received as the previous two. I think this record is a big milestone in the development of the Centre. It's cheeky. It's bold. It is, in places extremely ambitious, nowhere more so than in the centrepiece track which we call simply "The Big Songs"......All of us who work with these young people draw great inspiration from what they do, and we do our best to make sure they achieve what they want to.

I hope you get as much joy from listening to this music as we did from making it.
Dougie Pincock...Director, Sgoil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd.
