Still making waves, still influencing and still getting rave on rave reviews. Well worth a listen if you have an open mind on traditional music.
"This could easily be described as the difficult second album riding the wave of 1994's critically acclaimed "Nahoo". "Too" is a work of much greater backbone and depth. It is still likely to divide opinion every bit as much as its predecessor, following well trodden themes of the clearances, homecoming and distant native populations, set to a very modern upbeat soundscape; but it has the feeling of being a much more complete album. ".. from a review by Keith Witham in The Living Tradition magazine.
Track 3, "North" is the music in the "Visit Scotland" televison advert.

Brilliance Philip Newbould
This has to be one of the nicest and complete albums I have ever listended to, having never actually reviewed one and now having the chance I'm glad I have. The music is a grand mixture of the traditional and new with a lovely rhythmic feel all the way through. The guitars solos are awsome and not overpowering, the actual music is brilliantly written, complicated and then not. Its challenging, emotive and very enjoyable. It brings your emotions to the fore, brightens your eyes! Its one of those albums that you have been looking for - a discovery, im glad its in my collection!
Brazil meets Scotland - call it a draw! Tony Fisher
Paul Mounsey's follow up to his brilliant debut Nahoo is slightly less dependent on Scottish samples, but still very well worth buying. He mixes Scottish instruments with traditional Brazilian instruments, electic guitars, keyboards and some stunning vocal effects. It can be heavy, uplifting and melodic in the space of seconds, so rapidly does he change the pace and mood. A must have of world music.
