Jim Malcolm writes: "It has long been an ambition of mine to record a solo live CD. I've always been a fan of live music recording because it's difficult to create an atmosphere in a studio, where everything is geared for audio cleanliness - a bit like a hospital operating theatre.......I chose to record in Glenfarg partly because it's close to home and has strong family connections. But a big factor was the substancial support I knew I wouold receive from the Glenfarg Folk Club........I hope you enjoy this CD, and that it whets your appetite to hear a live show one day. Concerts really are the best way to hear music, though I hope this is a good second best."
