Jim Reid is without doubt one of Scotland's finest traditional singers. He is joined on this album by John Huband* on accordion.

John could effortlessly play Jazz and Continental as well as Scottish with mind-boggling ability. The tune’ John Hubands Dancing Fingers’ could not have been named better. John’s party piece was to play The High Level Hornpipe and The Tushkar, etc on THE BASS end, with note perfect ability and finishing at breakneck speed.
