The band has a distinguished sound as they included a cornet in the lineup - it was an idea which Cameron picked up for Midlothian bandleader Willie Hannah. 21 tracks on this album and together with the 27 from Volume 1 give the listener almost half of the bands recordings. Jim Cameron and his Scottish cuntry Dance Band were without doubt the Beltona label's biggest name in the post war period.
