A well-loved Gaelic singer from the 1950s and 60s, George Clavey recorded only one vinyl LP titled Gaelic Gems. It is the tracks from this LP which have been re-mastered to make this lovely CD and given us who were not fortunate enough to hear George Clavey when he was alive, the chance to enjoy his beautiful mellow voice in all its glory. A lovely selection of songs with instrumental accompaniment.
