Compilation

Originally released by EMI in LP format, this album featuring several of the finest Scottish fiddlers is now available on CD for the first time. The repertoire was produced in association with "The Caledonian Companion", a collection of Scottish traditional fiddle music.

The Hector MacAndrew tracks were recorded in the 1960s, all the other tracks were recorded in 1980 especially for this album. Sadly Hector died in 1980.
