Fast and Furious features a compilation of Foot Stompin’s gallery of artists up to June 2000. The CD gets off to a rocking start with Finlay MacDonald’s “The Plagiarist” and carries on with Liz Doherty and Fiddlesticks’ version of the Finnish tune “Krapulakatrilli”. The main feature of this CD is that all tracks are fast moving. My favourite track is Simon Thoumire Orchestra’s “The Future is bright” which has a great guitar solo from Kevin MacKenzie. There are more traditional tracks on the CD including Keep it Up’s “Tail Toddle” and Liz Doherty’s “Mince in a Basket”. This CD is for you if you like your traditional music on the more contemporary side of things.
