Welcome to the twentieth album of traditional music and song from Boys of the Lough. The recordings reflect their current line-up, their origins and interests. They bring the distinctive music of their own localities to the project and also include one or two items from the wider tradition that have caught their attention during their extensive travels. Excellent music and great CD sleevenotes with history of the tunes and songs.
Boys of the Lough are:
Cathal McConnell (Fermanagh) flute, whistles, song
Dave Richardson (Northumberland) concertina, mandolin, accordion
Brendan Begley (Kerry) accordion, melodeon, song
