As well as some more 78's there's music from old reel to reel tapes (restored by David Cunningham). The tapes were recorded "after hours" when the band had finished that night's dance and were having an impromptu session somewhere. consequently there's a relaxed feel to the music.
12 out of the 20 tracks are original 78's (enhanced and minus the hisses & scratches associated with 78s - thanks to Thane Multimedia) Note: "Enhanced" - they have not altered in any way, the sound produced in the studio. This is the way it was recorded, warts and all. Of the other 8 tracks, 7 are from a tape made in Dingwall. Track 1, "Kenmure's Up and Awa' " was Bobby MacLeod's signature tune and you can hear his spoken introduction.
