The album includes many of the old standards that you would expect, including "Amazing Grace," "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose," and "Wild Mountain Thyme," as well as popular jigs, reels and waltzes, such as "The Boston Two Step." There are tales of betrayal in "The Massacre of Glencoe" sung by John McDermott and stirring numbers from massed bands like the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra and the Bucclleuch and Queensberry Caledonia Pipe Band. The artists include The Porridge Men, harpist Lori Pappajohn, Enter the Haggis, Jimmi Shand, The Tartan Lads, Celtic Spirit, Freeland Barbour, Isla St. Clair, The Clydesiders, and the Kingdom Folk Band.
