    Another Quiet Sunday

    by Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Band
    Formed in 1910, this Pipe Band has been a continual winner of awards and competitions. In 1935 they won the British Championship at their very first appearance. Since then their record is second to none - eight times Champion of Champions; ten times World Champions; sixteen times European Champions; eighteen times British Champions - not to mention their many successes at the Scottish Championships. The Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band is one of the finest pipe and drum bands in the world, certain to delight and entertain audiences of all ages.

    8. Miss Campbell of Sheerness / Bill Harte's Jig / Rory MacLeod
    Three traditional jigs the first & third from Scotland and the second a well known session tune from Ireland.
    9. Commander Rodger Reid / The Magpie
    Two contemporary pipe tunes written very much in the modern piping style.
    10. MacNeil's of Ugadale / The Highland Circus / Kenneth G. MacLeod
    Two old 6/8 marches, split up by a recent composition to celebrate a weekend in Ullapool.
    11. The Hen and the Turkey / The Cockerel and the Creel / Kiss the Train Goodbye
    Three rather unusual reels with accompaniment that changes the whole mood.
    12. The Barmaid / The Swallow Tail Coat / The Wise Maiden / The Bagad Reel
    The youngest piper in the band Stuart Reid demonstrates his finger ability with this set of reels
    13. Colin's Cattle / The Heroes of Vittoria
    The Band say farewell with two retreat marches
