This collection of songs is the end result of a research project undertaken by the group in 2007, which saw the girls collect and research songs from their own home areas. The songs are presented in both traditional and contemporary styles, designed to show what Fionnar is really about – the fresh, young face of Gaelic Song today and  for the future.
The CD also features a track from Mod Gold Medallist Fiona Mackenzie.
