The Shee are an exceptional all-female band showcasing powerful vocals and instrumental prowess. Their music features original compositions alongside a wealth of traditional material. Their adventurous brew of Scottish folk, Gaelic song, and bluegrass has earned them fast growing recognition. The band includes the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2006, Shona Mooney.
The Shee are: Fiddle (Shona Mooney), fiddle, viola, voice(Olivia Ross), mandolin, voice (Laura-Beth Salter), accordion (Amy Thatcher), clarsach, voice (Rachel Newton), and flute (Lillias Kinsman-Blake).
