Mairearad Green - Passing Places: This young lady is a prolific writer as well as an excellent traditional musician and member of the Anna Massie Band, Box Club and The Poozies. Check out her book of 45 original compositions, several of which have already passed into the session repertoire. The book is well laid out with the music to suit accordion, fiddle etc and there are guitar chord symbols  as well.  A fine selection of marches, waltzes & slower tunes, strathspeys, jigs, polkas and reels several of which have been recorded bythe bands she plays with.   Her tune 'Dram Behind The Curtain' written for her Grandfather features on Eddi Reader's recording of 'Comin' Thru the Rye'  on the CD 'Eddi Reader Sings The Songs of Robert Burns'. The book includes the tunes written for Mairearad's much-acclaimed  'New Voices'  piece "Passing Places", commissioned by Celtic Connections 2009.
