    Gie's an A (book)

'Gie's An A' (Give us an A) was first printed in 1986. This fine collection contained unpublished compositions and traditional tunes from the Shetland Islands. The march, slow air, strathspey, reel & polka, 107 in all. Foreword, preface, performance notes, photos & drawings. Spiral-bound which makes it easy for all you fiddlers to open it on a music-stand ! Most of the fiddle tunes were written by Shetland fiddler Tom Anderson, with some tunes written by his students from Shetland's Young Heritage.. Soft Cover. Very Good.
