| I can't believe no one has submitted a review of this excellent CD already. I first heard it whilst browsing in Fopp Records in Rose Street- the track that was playing was "Blackbird". I didn't know it was Martyn until the next track "Chanter". This was not long after Martyn's untimely death. I bought the CD and play it regularly. What can I say other than it is a brilliant album - I particularly like "Blackbird", "Move" and "Liberation". Tracks blend everything from Harry Lauder, spoken word, gaelic psalms, traveller tales and much more. Altogether a great album and well worth listening to again and again. |
