Exhibit A is the realisation of an idea shared by folk musician Simon Thoumire and keyboard player Fergus MacKenzie. Their intention is to bring Scottish traditional music up to date with what is happening on the popular music scene. The idea evolved into a recording of folk music mixed with modern dance rhythms. By the end of the project both kinds of music had enhanced each other and evolved into a new and exciting sound.
