The Poozies have been evolving for over a decade and the current members have brought the music back closer to their roots in traditional and Celtic music. Latest addition Eilidh Shaw shows herself as fine tune writer as well as a great fiddler- two examples are her tune for Thomas Kinsella, "Tam the Banjo" and the self-explanatory "My Dad Paddy". This is an excellent album from The Poozies and shows them to be a band still at the top of their form.
