The Dubliners still remain, after five decades, one of Ireland's star box office attractions. This spring, they are coming back for a welcome return to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, the only Scottish date on their 2005 UK tour. The Dubliners are: John Sheahan, Barney McKenna, Sean Cannon, Paddy Reilly and Eamon Campbell.

Winners of 'Best Live Act' at the 2003 Scottish Traditional Music Awards, The Battlefield Band have been on the world's roads for just over 30 years. In 2003 they also toured Uzbekistan and enchanted by the people and their music, they are pleased to invite four of the top Uzbek musicians they played with to join them and a couple of great Scots dancers, in this one-off opportunity to highlight these two vibrant traditions. An exotic mix of east and west under one banner - "On the Great Silk Road". The Battlefield Band are : Alan Reid, Alasdair White, Mike Katz and Pat Kilbride.
