Hi folks,
Andy Cannon ( storyteller extraordinaire ) and masel', Wendy Weatherby ( vin ordinaire and a bit of cello ! ) have been booked for The Scottish Storytelling Centre, 43 -45 High Street, Edinburgh ( formerly The Netherbow ) under our guise ' Foolish Notion' to perform our show ' Oor Rabbie' - a whirlwind tour of Burns' life. It features an audience participation version of the 'best bits' of ' Tam O' Shanter' .... I know, I know... Hands up everybody who hates audience participation.. ! :) Anyway...

We're there on

Jan 23rd 7pm
24th 3pm, 7pm
30th 7pm
31st 7pm
Tickets are £8, £6 for children / concessions or a family ticket for 4 people - £24
It's suitable for children/ adults beyond the age of 8 !
It would be lovely to see some Footstompers, young and old , there - I think it's a good laugh, and it lasts around an hour.
Hope to see you !
spike xx:)

Thanks for the bump, Keith ! :) xx
At the moment we are touring this - 3 shows a day for schools in West Lothian - knackering, but great fun ! The kids have been great and school dinners are a lot better than I remember - although ' hard cake and custard' still seems to make an appearance from time to time ....
Looking forward to the SSC - I STILL call it the Netherbow, tho' ! - And if any Footstompers are swithering.. remember, it's right next door to The Tass ! X

I'm still grinning when I remember your fab performance in Edinburgh Folk Club, the, ahem, adult one.... Sorry I won't be able to make it tonight, sounds like a good show.

Thanks for the plug, Keith !
We had a rerr terr last night - we had some hellish audience participation in Tam O' Shanter -which is only how it SHOULD be ! - and a good crowd of mainly adults, which meant some of the 1970s references went down well ... :)
Two more shows today, then over to Glasgow for the graveyard shift - how apt ! - in the 12 hour Burns Marathon.. another hellish legion altogether ! xx
