Perhaps the 2 threads can be merged, since Bruce put in a lot of detail for the winners' MySpaces, websites, etc. The first Danny Kyle night this year was last year's winners (as many as could make it). Also saw some of them ably supporting Dervish, so looks like at least some of them get gigs. |

As far as I can see, all bar one of the finalists from last year had a support gig this year, as well as the "First Night of the Dannys" concert. Bethan Nia at the Heartstring Sessions Arty McGlynn & Nollaig Casey with Máire Ní Chathasaigh & Chris Newman, Strathclyde Suite Debra Salem supporting Kathleen Boyle at the Tron Maggie Adamson supporting Jerry Holland & Friends at St Andrews in the Square Suzanne Houston & Neil Ewart supporting Dervish - strathclyde suite John Langan - Show of Hands, Strathclyde Suite The only one I can't find any mention of this year is "Feolta" |
