All Welcome

Hamish Moore has long been fascinated with the mysteries and contradictions of Scottish Culture, as it is commonly known and presented.
He has spent much of his working life researching styles of music and how they relate to the rhythms of the old hard shoe percussive step dance.
He has recently completed a project to make 8 sets of highland pipes, all reproduced from the 1785 Black Set of Kintail, presently housed in The Inverness Museum.
He will present some of his controversial ideas and thoughts on how radically different things were, before piping competitions were introduced, and before the Highland Regiments were raised.
