Kilmarnock Edition debut album release

Posted: 01-Aug-2012 23:55 Debut album of 'Kilmarnock Edition' is officially released today. 'Pay It Forward' is an eclectic fusion of Scots, Gaelic, jazz and other folky/world acoustic sounds, all original tracks. Kilmarnock Edition first came together in the Burnsong Competition house of 2009 and 5 of the songwriters decided to form a band, later joined by percussionist Stu Clark of Edinburgh. Band member are Alex Hodgson, Fiona J Mackenzie,Yvonne Lyon, Lisa Rigby, Roberto Cassani and Stu Clark. The album is released on the Greentrax label. The band are appearing at the Kirkcaldy Acoustic Music Club on Aug 23rd and at the Ross Open Air stage in Princes gardens on Aug 25, 4.30pm. More official album launch dates to be announced soon. |
