A varied programme, as usual.

However, while most of these fine acts will no doubt be enjoyed by many, I would like to personally recommend three gigs which you all should consider to be "Must see"s.

7 Nov Niamh Ni Charra

A former River Dance fiddler but please don't hold that against her. She's an exceptionally talented musician(Fiddle and concertina) and singer. Also an extremely charming person too.

10 Nov Himmerland (Denmark) & Gavin Pennycook’s Celtic Nyckelharpa Project

I don't really need to say any more about this one. Just be there!!

28 Nov Ruth Notman
Unfortunately, the web site seems to be defunct but check her out here

One of the best young voices I've heard for many a year. Her "Life of Lily" album is a classic.

Thanks to all who have supported us over the last year. If you've not managed along, then why not give it a go next season?

Just to remind you, we also have an additional show at The Acoustic Music centre on 15th August featuring Brian McNeill along with The Wendy Weatherby Band.

See here for full details and ticket arrangements.

Do enjoy your summer break even if you are tempted to visit one of these horrible hot places.
