London has been "created" as a principal world city at the expense of virtually the whole of the rest of the UK. I'm quite sure that even St George could agree with that. |

Posted: 18-Aug-2012 10:39 Glasgow and the West of Scotland has already had more than its fair share of media spotlight(whether favourable or otherwise) over the years on BBC Scotland, the newspaper press, and Strathclyde Television. Many times when I've been abroad on holiday, people will refuse to believe I'm Scottish because I don't have a Weegie accent. |
