"Edinburgh Folk Club presents Battlefield Band founder, multi-instrumentalist and powerful songwriter Brian McNeill and the brilliant cellist and singer Wendy Weatherby in a Festival double-bill. This year Brian McNeill celebrates the 40th year of a career that has established him as one of the most acclaimed forces in Scottish music. He recently released 'The Road Never Questions', a 'best of' selection of his remarkable output. Wendy Weatherby's latest album is 'A Shirt of Silk and Snow'. "Weatherby's reputation as one of Scotland's best musicians and singers will be confirmed by this outstanding CD." (Folk World)"

We realise that competition is great but your support would be appreciated.

Tickets are available from several outlets including online via The QH Box Office

http://www.thequeenshall.net/elsewhere/shows/brian-mcneill-wendy-weatherby

Also through the AMC and Fringe Box offices. Please see http://www.acousticmusiccentre.co.uk/tickets.html

Please disregard comments made elsewhere, Wendy is actually the Bridget Bardot of folk.......

Already there are reports that some very keen fans will journey from side of Edinburgh to the other for this one..... even negotiating tram lines in the process.

It's very handy for the 44! Might even be some from as far as Balerno!
