This DVD tutor will take you from the complete beginner stage to playing simple airs, reels and strathspeys on your fiddle. You will learn how to hold the fiddle and the bow and begin playing simple tunes right from the start. Sarah Naylor, Glenfiddich Champion, will guide you with phrase by phrase tuition through the tunes to help you become a great Scottish fiddle player. By the end of this tutor you will be playing well known tunes such as The Athole Highlanders, Auld Lang Syne, Skye Dance, Loch Lomond and more.
The DVD is easy to navigate and has lots of additional fiddle information such as a slide show and lists of useful books, CDs, and Fiddle Festivals in Scotland so you can continue learning great Scottish tunes.
There are 20 great Scottish tunes to learn and a 16 page booklet is enclosed with all the material from the DVD. Multi angle film will help you with close up views and there are slow and fast versions of the tunes for you to play along with as you learn.
