Rivers of Scotland
Scotland has many beautiful rivers. A series of six programmes now released on a single DVD, 'Rivers of Scotland', comes from the people who made the very popular 'Mountains of Scotland'. This time the journey follows some of Scotland's most beautiful rivers The Tweed,The Spey,The Dee,The Forth,The Tay,The Great Glen.
On the way you will explore the great Houses and Castles, lochs and Clan history that are Scotland's heritage. These winding water journeys take the viewer from the wild places where the mighty salmon spawn, past the Distilleries that transform their liquid into whisky, the 'Water of Life', to the towns and cities en route to the coast. The Rivers of Scotland will take you on a stunning aerial journey exploring the great houses and castles, lochs and Clan history to be found along the arteries of Scotland.
