On '100 Years of Sir Jimmy Shand - From Miner To Maestro', Scottish folksinger and broadcaster Jimmie MacGregor guides you through the life of the legendary Jimmy Shand with the help of his son Jimmy Shand Jnr. and unique, never before seen, personal home film taken by Sir Jimmy and his son over the past 60 years.
Musical contributions are provided by leading Scottish Dance Bands filmed at the Sir Jimmy Shand Centennial Concert, plus some fascinating recollections from a few of Sir Jimmy's professional friends.
