Flying Scotsman - The Ultimate Profile (DVD): Flying Scotsman holds a host of records, including being the first locomotive to complete a non-stop London to Edinburgh run and the first steam engine to reach 100mph in 1934. Flying Scotsman also starred in the first ever full-length British feature film with sound. She was saved by the nation in 2004, is a star icon of the National Collection, and is currently being restored to make her fit to return to main line operations in 2011.There can't be many individual trains that are famous across the world but if there is such a one the Flying Scotsman would be it. Long considered to be one of Britain's greatest trains, the Flying Scotsman is the subject of the documentary that is as fascinating as it is revealing.
